# Publication policy The Book of Reframe is a public, reviewed projection of Reframe's development truth. It is not a mirror of the private runtime repository. ## What this publication may contain - reviewed command and capability descriptions; - sanitized release manifests and live-acceptance evidence; - AX/VRT screenshots and accessibility evidence; - publisher-owned manuscript evidence when its public scope and rights review are recorded; - provenance and links to public governance. ## What it must not contain - runtime source or private dependencies; - private fixtures, private FountainStore records, or unowned manuscript material; - credentials, deployment details, or secrets; - claims that are not supported by the checked registry, live proof, or release manifest. The runtime and registry are maintained privately in `Fountain-Coach/midi2-gpu-fabric`; GitHub may return 404 to a reader without access. That repository is therefore not presented as a public source link. The public explanation of the boundary is [Reframe governance Chapter 44](https://github.com/Fountain-Coach/Reframe-Refactoring/blob/main/docs/44-publication-and-source-policy.md). The current Book snapshot records no released App surface. Development evidence is published only with that status. Making runtime implementation public would require a separate visibility, license, secret-scan, dependency, fixture/data, and maintainer review. Owned manuscript screenshots are not automatically obfuscated: when the publisher declares the material theirs and the evidence is limited to the stated command result, the point of publication is to show the real reading surface. Each such asset must record the ownership declaration, scope, and review for personal data, third-party material, and secrets.
